TradePro Academy is a day trading community run by George Papazov.. they offer products for stocks, future and options.

They're pretty expensive, though, and before spending thousands I'm sure you want to know if they're scams or not.

This review will answer that.

Make sure to go everything below because there's a lot to consider before purchasing TradePro Academy.

I'll show you some important background information, a look at what you actually get and breakdown of the price.

You'll know if these programs are worth it by the time you're done reading.

Let's get into it!

TradePro Academy Summary

Owner: George Papazov

Price: Depends on product

Rating: 2/5

Do I Recommend? No.

Summary: I'd definitely pass on TradePro Academy. I have serious doubts about how experienced the team at this company is.

The owner started TradePro directly out of college and there's zero chance he was a good trader then.

Additionally, it's just overpriced and there's no refunds.

3 Facts About TradePro Academy

Before we get into what courses and services TradePro Academy offers, let's take a look at some background information.

This is what I think is most important to know.

1) George Lacks Any Real Trading Experience

One thing that jumps out at me when looking at the TradePro Academy team is the overall lack of experience.

There really isn't many there that have an impressive resume or any real experience trading.

For example, let's take a look at the founder George Papazov.

According to him his career started in his teens when he "designed a forex trading strategy that generated 50% annualized returns."

He claims he did this for 5 years!

Of course George offers no proof of this happening.

Just to put this in perspective, Warren Buffet (regarded as the best investor) earns on average 20% every year.

The idea that a kid in high school could nearly triple Warren Buffet's returns over a 5 year period is laughable and never happened.

There would be no reason to create TradePro Academy and sell $1500 courses if you could earn 50% returns every year.

You would eventually make hundreds of millions with those kind of returns, if not billions like Buffet.

The truth is George needs to tell these fantasies because he has no real trading experience.

If you look on Linkedin George graduated college in 2011 and then started TradePro Academy in 2012!

Usually when a young kid starts a day trading academy it means they come from money.

Here's another example of a young kid doing this.

I'm guessing George's father financed the beginning of TradePro and it didn't start from George's mythical returns as a teenager.

Regardless of how George got the money to start TradePro Academy right out of college, I think it's obvious George wasn't a competent trader when he did start this company.

2) The Rest Of The Team Lacks Experience As Well

The rest of the team at TradePro doesn't inspire much confidence either.

One of the top option traders and moderators is Victorio Stefanov and he lacks any real experience too.

He took courses at Canadian Securities Institute for a few years and left in 2018.

Victorio then became an equities derivative trader for 18 months (likely at TradePro) before moving to content manager (a marketing job) for almost 3 years:

It's one thing to be a massive bank that hires a college kid and has the resources to teach them.

It's another to be a small company like TradePro Academy that's geared towards helping small individual investors.

The other option trader is Sarah Glass and she has the least experience out of everyone.

Her degree is in fraud examination and spent years as a legal assistant.

According to her she learned about option trading in 2018 "from an institutional options trader" but doesn't elaborate beyond that.

I'm not feeling confident looking at the background of the main people at TradePro.

In fact, when you look at their "about me" there's just as many marketing people as there are traders!

I'm guessing the goal here isn't really producing profitable traders - it's to make as many sales as possible.

3) Day Trading Is A Terrible Way To Trade

I've reviewed hundreds of programs that claim they will make you money with trading and investing.

The trading strategy with the most scams by far is day trading.

There's a simple explanation for this:

Day trading is a scam.

You know how many legitimate day traders I've across since beginning this site? Zero.

They're all frauds who make their money from Youtube and selling courses/chatroom access.

Here's a few reasons why day trading is not worth your time:

The More You Do It, The Worst Your Results

You know what the difference between learning a skill and gambling is?

A skill you will get better at over time and with practice - gambling just leads to worst results the more you do it.

It's been proven in different studies that the more you day trade, the more you lose.

This means it's not a skill that can be learned over time.

It's pure gambling in the way that roulette or blackjack is. The house always wins with gambling.

Less Than 1% Make More Than Minimum Wage

One of the biggest day trading studies tracked thousands of day traders over the course of a year.

Only 3% of regular day traders profited ANYTHING.

There's one thing day trading gurus never want to talk about, though.. and that's the fees associated with day trading.

Through various fees each trade can cost you $100!

Because of this only a small amount make more than a minimum wage worker.

Hours Of Time Needed A Day

Another barrier of entry to day trading is the time you need to devote to it.

Day trading is not a passive investment strategy.

It's balls to the wall trading that can be very chaotic and takes hours a day to do.

Most of the trading gets done the second the market opens at 9 AM too.

So if you're on the West Coast of America that means waking up very early because you need a couple hours to plan.

If you want to day trade you need to wake up before the sun rises every single day.. just to have a 1% chance to make more than minimum wage.

You Can't Predict Where A Stock Will Be In A Hour

It doesn't matter what technical analysis strategy or candlestick pattern you learn, you'll never be able to guess a stock's price in a few hours.

I mean look at this chart:

Do you really believe the secret to a stock's price is hidden in here.

Do you really think you can learn something that looks like this chart and accurately be able to tell where a stock's price will be in a couple of hours?

Of course not.

It's complete guess work and the only way to have success with stocks is invest in the long run.

TradePro Academy Product Overview

There's a few different products that revolve around stocks, options and futures.

Here's a breakdown of each one:

Option Products

There's an options course and an options chatroom at TradePro Academy.

The course comes with 6 months access to the chatroom and costs $1,499.

After 6 months you'll have to pay $179 per month to stay in the chatroom.

You get the following in the course:

  • Beginner training on options
  • Swing trading strategies
  • Day trading strategies
  • Risk management
  • Trading journal

and more.

With the chat you get:

  • Market analysis
  • Trading ideas
  • Live analysis and commentary
  • Trade breakdowns and reviews
  • Weekly newsletter

Stock Products

There is no chatroom for stocks and instead it's just the training program.. it costs $699.

You learn the following with this program:

  • Technical analysis
  • Swing trading principles
  • Different trading strategies
  • Risk management
  • Stock screening

Apparently coming soon will be a quarterly and yearly report that covers both value stocks and growth stocks.

This is a much better option than day trading and swing trading.

Futures Products

Lastly, we have a course and chatroom that revolve around futures trading.

The program is $1999 and you get access to the chatroom for 6 months.. after you'll have to pay $219 a month to get chatroom access.

The futures training program comes with the following:

  • Futures order flow course
  • Market structure course
  • Trading journal
  • Chart software
  • Trading strategy modules

The chatroom features George from 9 AM to 11 AM and is a 24/7 members chat.

TraderPro Academy FAQ's

Here's some answers to any remaining questions you have:

1) Is TradePro Academy's Price Fair?

Everything is too expensive in my opinion.

The courses are pretty basic and cost a lot of money.

You can easily find the same stuff on Youtube for free or just find books on Amazon that will teach you more.

For example, this book on Amazon covers options and has thousands of reviews.. it's only $26:

The chatroom is very expensive as well.

The futures chatroom is $219 a month which will cost you more than $2600 for the year.

This means you're starting in the red $2600.

It's hard enough to profit and this will just make it that much harder.

2) Is There Refunds?

Nope.

George gives the typical response that in order to protect TradePro Academy's intellectual property rights and too much time was put into creating the products.

However, plenty of legitimate companies offer refunds for their products.

Personally, I just think George is being greedy.

If someone genuinely doesn't like the service they should be able to get their money back in a reasonable amount of time.

3) Is Forex Taught?

Forex is not taught which is how you know George is misleading about the success he had as a teenager with forex.

He claimed to have 50% returns over a 5 year period.. this would make him one of the best forex traders in the world, if not the best.

However, he runs the futures trading room now.

Odd he would give up being the best forex trader to trade oil futures.

4) What Are Common TradePro Academy Customer Complaints?

The most common complaint I saw is there's not a lot of support.

TradePro Academy makes it clear they don't give trading signals and would rather just talk about trades in a more general sense.

This means you won't be getting step by step instructions on each trade.

There's a few different people that have made the same comment:

This definitely isn't a place for beginners or for people looking for a lot of support.

5) Are there any similar companies?

There's a lot of day trading communities that are almost identical to TradePro Academy.

Some of them include:

As you can see there's no shortage of day trading grifters out there.

TradePro Academy Pros And Cons

Pros
Cons
  • Not a lot of experience: Most of the staff came straight from college and don't really have much experience. There's really no proof anyone at TradePro Academy is a successful trader.
  • Expensive: You'll have to spend thousands a year for all of these products.
  • No refunds: All legit programs offer a refund.. TradePro doesn't.
  • Teaches day trading: Day trading is the worst way to trade and it's a heavy focus here.

TradePro Academy Conclusion

What TradePro Academy is doing isn't new or anything like that.

There's dozens of places that offer the exact same thing - overpriced training, a chatroom that's not that useful, young inexperienced owner, etc.

There's a lot ton of money in this stuff.

Just think about it.. a membership to the chatroom is over $2,000 for the year!

These chatrooms are very inexpensive to run. You get 500 members and you're making over $1 million dollars a year.

Add in the courses that cost several thousand as well.

With this kind of money you're going to attract greedy people.

At the end of the day I don't think a kid straight out of college could possibly have the skills to teach trading.

And because he's making so much I don't see a reason why he would even need to learn how to trade well.

If you're making millions selling courses are you going to stress yourself out trying to master the hardest possible way to trade?

Of course you wouldn't.

Here's A Better Opportunity

I'd pass on TradePro Academy.. I'd also pass on anything that has to do with day trading.

It's almost impossible to succeed with day trading.

If you want to make money with stocks invest long term. It's easier to guess where a stock will be in a few years instead of a few hours.
