Things To Know About Bull And Burst Report
Before looking at what Bull And Burst Report is, let's take a look at some background information.
This is what I think is most important to know about this product:
1) The Company Is Owned By Agora Financial
The publisher for Bull And Bust Report is Angel Publisher and they are owned by Agora Financial.
Agora Financial is a BEHEMOTH company in the investing newsletter space.
They have hundreds of domains, thousands of writers, they own dozens of different publications and sell thousands of products in the investing and health space.
I've come across many of their newsletters in the last few months including:
So I am very familiar with this company and the kind of products they sell.
To be completely honest I don't like Agora for a lot of reasons and they often sell straight up scams to people.
That's not just my opinion either.
They were charged by the FTC for selling bogus financial and health products to senior citizens.
Agora had to pay $2 million for their crimes which included promoting fake diabetes cures.
They employ some of the worst characters in the investment world, including some that are banned from Wall Street.
Additionally, their sales tactics are sleazy and they run a boiler room type sales process.
You'll always get gimmicky sales presentations from Agora and their products are overhyped.
Many people lose tons of money.
This doesn't mean every investing newsletter from Agora is a scam but it's not a good sign to be owned by them.
2) The Creator Is Chris DeHaemer
Chris DeHaemer is the director of this newsletter.
I couldn't really find too much about him to be honest.
He claims his investments have beaten the S&P 500 basically every year since he's gotten started.
There's no real proof of this besides him making the claim so I definitely wouldn't just believe it.
According to him he made a killing in oil after investing in various oil companies word wide.
Chris claims to have made 759% gains from Petro Matad (Mongolian oil company), 411% in Africa Oil, 105% on Cove Energy.
On his Linkedin it shows he graduated from Loyola with a history degree and then started working for Taipan Publishing Group in 2005.
Not sure how he got into investing, though.
I checked Finra and he's not listed there.
His Linkedin page states the following:
My guess is Agora hired him as a writer or something like that a while ago and he just worked his way through the company.
3) The Stock Picks Haven't Been Great
A few times a year Bull And Bust Report will run a campaign teasing a stock pick.
It's usually a very sensational sales presentation about a stock that Chris believes will make you a lot of money.
To get the stock pick you have to buy Bull And Bust Report.. the teaser acts like a sweetener.
Here's a look at how some of these stocks have played out over the past few years:
Taiwan Semiconductor (April 2021)
In April 2021 Bull And Bust Report ran a campaign claiming you could get 400% gains "from the end of Bitcoin."
The pitch claimed Biden would ban Bitcoin and The Federal Reserve would create their own digital currency (didn't happen).
This would result in a need for chips and semiconductors.
The company teased in this report is Taiwan Semiconductor, which is the largest chip maker in the world.
Here's how the stock has played out since Chris made this announcement:
Overall the stock is down a little bit.
As you can see Taiwan Semiconductor was very stagnant before it exploded in mid 2020.
This is the kind of stock you'll likely have to hold for a long time before it becomes profitable.
Additionally, a Chinese and Taiwan confrontation won't be good for the stock either.
This stock hasn't paid out yet but it could in the future.
Vuzix (March 2021)
Another stock recommended in early 2021 was Vuzix.
This campaign ran under the title of "Spatial Computing" claiming buying this stock would make you "I bought Apple in 1980 rich."
Spatial computing is augmented reality and helps overlay 3D graphics into the real world.
Despite the hype the stock hasn't performed well since this campaign launched:
That's around a 75% loss.
Had this company been recommended just 6 months earlier the returns would have been massive had you sold at the peak.
Mastercard, Visa, Paypal And Square In March 2020
Right when covid hit in 2020 Bull And Burst Report ran a pretty aggressive campaign titled "The 4 MVPs of the tap and go revolution."
They claimed these stocks would be huge opportunities during the covid stock market crash.
Let's see how each has played out.
First up we have Mastercard:
This stock turned out to be heavily discounted during the dip and shot up very quickly after losing a lot of value.
It is now up around 40% since the campaign started running.
So this one is a winner.
Next up we have Visa:
This stock didn't have the same dramatic returns from its low point but is still up over 25%.
We have another winner.
After that we have Paypal:
This is a major loser and is down significantly since March 2020 (around 60%).
This pretty much wipes out the gains you would have made from Mastercard if you invested the same amount of money into both.
Still up so far if you invested in Visa, though.
Last up is Square:
This is another major loser so far.
If you invested equally in all four of these stocks you'd be down.
So despite two winners from the bunch this is a losing campaign.
Phillips 66 (November 2019)
In late 2019 Bull And Bust Report ran a campaign titled "Chaos in the global shipping markets on January 2020."
This campaign was really, really sensational and recommended a company called Phillips 66.
This is an oil company with billions in assets and thousands of employees.
The stock hasn't performed well since the campaign launched:
The picks I covered in this section aren't all the picks Chris has made and there's been some campaigns I didn't cover.
However, I didn't pick these stocks as a way to disparage Bull And Bust Report.
I just picked a handful of these teasers randomly and tracked their performance.
Out of 7 stock picks only 2 have been profitable.
That's not good at all.

The Bull And Bust Report has a few different aspects to it.

Once a month you can expect to get a full report from Chris and the team at Bull And Bust Report.
This is the core part of the entire offer.
In these newsletters you can expect to find the following:

A lot can happen in a month.
As I'm writing this Ukraine was invaded by Russia and Russia has been sanctioned heavily.
Anyone invested in Russian gas companies are down big if they didn't sell in time.
You get alerts and updates whenever a big event happens like the Ukrainian and Russian war.
This allows you to make smart investment decisions between the monthly issues of Bull And Bust Report.
Weekly News Roundup
You get a roundup of all the biggest news that effects the market every week.
You'll get easy to understand analysis of the major stories and you'll understand how this effects your portfolio.
Lastly, you get two special reports.
These reports are the teasers that I covered in the last section.
They're in depth write ups about a stock or a few stocks.
The special reports are always changing so chances are they're different by the time you read this.
Right now they're the "3 MVPs Of The Tap And Go Revolution" and "The $400 Trillion Blockchain Back Door."
The first report we already covered and includes stocks like Visa, Mastercard and Paypal.
The second teases a stock that has "39,000 patents" and is at the center of the "global blockchain revolution."

Bull And Bust Report FAQ's
Here's some answers to remaining questions you might have:
1) Is the price fair for Bull And Bust Report?
There's actually a few different prices for this newsletter.
On the Angel Publishing website it says $249 per year is the "lowest possible price:"
This actually isn't true, though.
I found a promotion through one of their marketing campaigns for a much more reduced price:
Here you can get Bull And Bust Report for either $49 per year or you can get it for $79 for two years.
Obviously these deals are much better than $249 per year.
If you can't find a promotional offer I'd give the company a call and try to get it at the reduced price.
2) Is there a refund policy?
Again, this seems to depend where you buy the newsletter from.
If you buy straight from Angel Publishing the sales page doesn't mention a refund policy.
However, through the promotional page I found there was an excellent refund policy.
You got 6 months to try the service risk free:
6 months is basically the best you can ask for.
This will give you plenty of time to test out the monthly stock picks and to look at portfolio to see if it's right for you.
3) How much do I need for investments?
This is where it gets a little tricky.
The price is cheap enough that you won't start too far in the red and you should profit if you make smart investments.
However, you're going to need a decent amount to invest in the stock picks.
Typically you want $1000 for each monthly investment.
On top of that you'll want money to invest in the portfolio.
Let's say there's 5 or 6 stocks you like - that would cost you another $5000 to $6000.
So I'd say that amount + the amount needed to invest in the new stock picks every month.
4) Is Chris DeHaemer legit?
I spent a little covering the creator of Bull And Bust Report earlier and want to reiterate something:
I'm not entirely sure how legit Chris is.
You may be thinking a person that's running an investing newsletter has to be legit but that's not the case.
Especially for an Agora run company.
They hire scam artists all the time to run major publications. Teeka Tiwari is an example of this.
I don't like that Chris has spent basically his entire career at Agora.
This is a red flag and I'd compare it to being a career politician.
Most of the time only bad people stick around in politics their whole lives. There's some exceptions but not too many.
Same with Agora.

Bull And Bust Report Pros And Cons
Bull And Bust Report Conclusion
On the sales page Chris makes the claim he's had some amazing returns.
According to him these are his best stock picks:
Bull And Bust Report has been around for a long time so there's going to be winners.
However, I really think the losers outweigh whatever winners you are going to get.
When I looked back at the last 7 stock picks he teased and ran marketing campaigns around, 5 of them lost.
Some of them lost really big.
There's only 1 pick, Mastercard, that I would say was an excellent recommendation.
These 7 picks span several years as well.
So while I think the price is good and the refund policy is good, I just don't think the returns will be all that impressive.
Here's A Better Opportunity
I'd pass on Bull And Bust Report.
The good news is there's many alternatives that gives you better stock picks.
